J. Pablo Soto

 I was born in Santiago, Chile at november of 2000. I´ve studied in the IAE, localizaed in the commune of Santiago. In the school i was member of the orchesta. When i was in 11° grade, i was elected the class president, and some months later i´ve turn the treasurer of the directive in the student center.

Since 6th grade, i was entirely convinced about study architecture in the U. Chile when i left the school, eventually when i did the PSU in 2018 my only choice was that, now i´m in third year of the degree.

My family is a small one, all my grandparents are death, i don´t have any brothers or sisters, I only have my parents, my aunt, and my dogs.

My hobbies are divided in three type of activities: watch cinema, listen music, play videogames.

I love cinema, and i debt this to my father, who always want share with me a good movies enjoying the film, eating something, and after all talking about the movie. He show me a lot of great directors like Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Hayao Miyazaki, Akira Kurosawa, Martin Scorssese, etc., in this way, my favorites movies are 2001: A space Oddyssey, The Lord of The Rings, The Mission, The End of Evangelion and Blade Runner. Also i like see some TV series and anime series like House, Monty Python: Flying Circus, The Boys, FMAB, Karl Marx: The Leader, and Evangelion.

My music passion began when my father show me a guitar, and the world of music. He teach my since i was a child to listen to rock, progressive rock, clasical music and chilean music. But the most of my times when i´m lisening music, is when i´m working or studying.

One of my relax activities is playing videogames, firstly fantasy, and science fiction games, like The Legend of Zelda saga, and Half Life saga respectively. 

Also, i´m the stereotype of bored guy whose first priority besides study, is work in political activity, my biggest interest is learn the republican and marxist leninist theory, and apply in the architecture as a class weapon, indeed, actually i´m candidate for the constitution convention.

Architecture as a class weapon

 Hello there! Today i´m going to talk about my perspective about the architecture, as a weapon for build a different world.  I think architecture is a disicpline whose is dependent on the ideology of the ruler class, as a way to build in the territory the method of the social relationships in a determinated system, by way of the architecture the society adjust the relationships between the workers and their jobs in the urban land, between the areas of the economy, and between the city and the field. That´s because it´s necesary not only work since the individual actions, we must modify the architecture, its teaching and its practice. My old WII

Yes, that will sound weird but my favorite tecnology is my old WII game console, because is even thougt is a very old game console, it´s still working and i enjoy playing some games, that is one of the few things that i can do for relax in my free times. The best is i had it since around 2012, like eight or nine years ago, and i did´t nedd to buy another game console yet.  Even i don´t have too many games, when i´m under stress and need to waste energy i play "boxing" in WII Sports, when i need to relax i play The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, a master piece of adventrues videogames, with an excelent story, music and architecture. When i´m sad or tired play Zelda games is for my a good way for relax, it´s a similar experience like watch a Miyazaki movie, a "magic" experience. I recomed play WII fot those pwople who love nintendo clasic games and want to relax some time in the week.
